Just because I closed my eyes last night didn’t mean that I could stop my mind from racing over the news that Radiohead will more than likely be releasing specifics concerning tour dates in the next few hours.
I spent my sleeping hours floating over a North American continent lit up by every town that was promised a visit by Thom Yorke and company. I went to every ticket office, every concrete coliseum, every smoke filled arena, but I couldn’t find tickets or Radiohead anywhere.
Dear God, please don’t let this dream reflect on the rest of my week.
I actually contemplated not sharing this news with whoever of you might be reading, because I didn’t want to have one more competitor for tickets. I’m warning you though, Saturday morning, I’ll be doing anything but sleeping as I’ll be frantically hitting refresh on Ticketmaster and praying against hope that I just might get a chance inside the sanctuary of Radiohead.
