Because I do not have the mental fortitude for anything substantive today, I'd like to present the important news that colleges are having ….

Chuck Bass Fridays.

This is according to Gossip Girl stylist, Eric Daman. He tells the quirkily-font-colored "A Shaded View of Fashion" blog that he lauds the movement

"Bass goes beyond my personal style, I wish I had the money and youth to carry off his looks. It’s just un rêve (a dream) to dress a womanizing straight boy in such dandy apparel. I’ve read blogs from different colleges that actually have Chuck Bass Fridays. There is a whole movement behind him and his wardrobe which is sooo gratifying because, lets face it, men really should dress better. There is no one favourite look, I just try to keep him up to par each episode, which is no easy task."

Chuck, as any culturally literate person knows, is soooo fond of ice-cream-sherbet colored three-piece-suits with delicate-manly bow ties. I think Eric Daman is lying about this sweeping movement though, because I googled "Chuck Bass Fridays blogs" and found only Eric Daman talking about Chuck Bass Fridays.

Please let me know if you come across anything more definitive in your own googling or your trolling of Gossip Girl websites under the name "IWantToHaveChuckBass'sStylishSexyBabies10000000."

Oh, man. I wish I could find out The Truth because Chuck Bass Friday sounds effing amazing and I’d be all over that business. Except, presumably, CBF participants would skip the more date-rapey characteristics of Charles Bartholomew Bass.

I’d wear my Blair headband in honor of it. Or try some gender bending with my own dapper three piece sherbet-colored plaid suit and bow tie.

Anyway, the most I could find in evidence was a comment by ‘sarcasticmeow’ saying that Stanford had a CB-themed party. In the comments over here. And if sarcasticmeow said it, then it MUST be trufax!!
