I'm feeling a swelling sense of granddaughterly pride in Senator John McCain today. I think we can all agree that this was downright adorbs:

@SenJohnMcCain is running his Twitter himself now — something the technologically-savvy @BarackObama never did. In fact, @BarackObama's Twitter is now defunct, to the disappointment of his 332,598 forsaken-feeling Tweeple.

Almost all of Twitteronia thinks @SenJohnMcCain is adorable. There are the usual cynics claiming it's actually an aide, but most are applauding: "You're doing awesome Senator McCain." "You are a true maverick." "You give me hope that i can figure it out too!"

I have transferred@SenJohnMcCain to the "Real Friends" group in my TweetDeck because I want to be immediately apprised of every cute tweet that he tweets.

Actually, quite a burn for those who make the “Annoying” TweetDeck list. Don’t worry. You’re on the “Real Friends” list but I highly doubt you’ll be able to out-Tweet @SenJohnMcCain. I’m waiting eagerly for his TOP TEN PORKIEST PROJECTS.

  6. Peter says:

    “Adorbs” is the word.

  7. I hope he learns Twitpic by then, so that he can include a picture of Porky Pig. This visual aid is necessary.
