Michael Spencer, aka The Internet Monk, passed away last night. Spencer was an important Christian blogger and a great friend to Patrol and we will miss him.
We will feature some further reflection on his life in the days to come, but in the meantime Jason Boyett has a heartfelt reflection on his blog. His conclusion really says it all:
Life isn’t fair. Death sucks. And in losing Michael Spencer, we lost a brilliant Christian voice way too early, when the volume was just getting turned up. I hate that.
But I have a feeling his influence will live on.
