It’s been busy (and controversial) week around here, so I thought I’d send us into the weekend with a bit of art. My wife and I had the opportunity to see the fabulous Regina Spektor in concert last night and it was incredible. I’ve always loved her song “Laughing With,” but to see it live was really quite moving. Though I can’t replicate that experience for you, I can share the song. Enjoy.

    Thanks, Dude !!

This sentiment is the same as the equally false “there are no atheists in foxholes”.

Why do religious people insist on projecting their own insecurities and superstitious behavior on everyone else?

Does it matter which god one laughs or doesn’t laugh at? After all, Christians believe that Krishna, Allah, Zeus, Odin, etc are all false gods; they denigrate all other gods with much more than mere derision.
