Those vanished Christian singers, you just never know where they’re going to turn up! In case you’re stalking, here’s a tip: Republican convention is always a safe bet.
Nothing much has been heard of Rachael since the sort-of flop of her third album, which was weirdly self-titled and all the way back in 2004. Her website hasn’t been updated since early last year, for the promotion of that sapfest of a movie Hidden Secrets (from a studio called “Pureflix,” for you old, old-school CCM Patrol readers).
But last night, she was looking as lovely as ever, and, when she got loud enough to be picked up on the pretty-bad-quality mic, sounded just as great. We miss you, Rachael! We welcome any career-revival stunts, just don’t kiss a girl and like it. That has been done.

Just so everyone doesn’t freak out, that is a belt, not a shockingly bared midriff. (Yes, I had an OMG moment right at the start of this clip.)

Gotta love the guitar guy trying to keep a straight face while trying to pull off Edge-like noodling on an acoustic…to no avail.
Even better: Seeing Republichristians rocking out and having a jolly-ol’ time to a song that’s four years old.

Who cares if the song is 4 years old? She is a beautiful and amazingly talented young woman! I think it’s awesome she got to sing!
